Steve serves as the President & CEO of Redstone Companies Real Estate, LLC overseeing all real estate acquisitions, development and growth opportunities. He also holds the position of Executive Vice President and General Counsel of The Redstone Companies and serves as an Executive Vice President of numerous Redstone-related entities. In addition, Steve is a Partner and member of the Investment Committee of Redstone Capital Partners, the private equity division of The Redstone Companies. Prior to joining Redstone in 1998, Steve was a partner at the Houston law firm now known as Schlanger, Silver, Barg & Paine, LLP.

Steve currently serves on the Board of Directors of Green Bancorp, Inc. and also serves on the Board of Directors of Harris County Improvement District #1 which encompasses the Uptown Houston District in the Galleria area of Houston, TX.  He is a former board member of Texas Inter-faith Housing Corporation.

Steve graduated with honors in Government from the University of Texas and is an honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he was a member of The Texas Law Review.
